DÉJÀ Vu Frames

Looking to play a trick on fellow web designers? Throw a little recursion their way. To make a recursive frame, first set a link on a frameset to the frameset itself. Next, set the target attribute of that link to _self. When selected, the page with the recursive link will be replaced by the entire frameset—which is already within the frameset. Select the link again and you’ve got a frameset within a frameset within a frameset. You can recursively display a frameset with about three or four iterations before they “blow up real good,” as the boys on SCTV used to say. Of course, if you want to avoid recursive framesets, set that target to _top—but then you’d just be a spoilsport.
