Not an Iframe

I’ve personally found no practical use for this trick; other people seem to like it, however, so I’ll share it with you too. The illusion of an iFrame can be created in Internet Explorer with a simple bit of CSS that looks something like this:

html{
border: #333333 100px solid;
}

Create a new style in Dreamweaver by clicking the New CSS Style icon in the lower portion of the CSS panel. Make sure that the radio is set to Selector Type: Tag. Enter or select HTML in the Tag field. Choose whether you want the code in the current document only or in an external CSS file, and then click OK. Move to the Borders category in the CSS Style Definition for HTML dialog and select your border options. When done, click OK. Then preview the results in Internet Explorer. You’ll see that the browser scrollbar is pulled into the page creating the illusion of an iFrame.
