Wizarding without Warlocks

Any Doc Strange devotees out there? For those of you not up on your Marvel Golden Age of Comics, Dr.Strange was a wizard given to pronouncements like, “By the hoary hosts of Hoggoth!” Well, the good doctor has nothing on our own weaver of dreams—especially when it comes to quickly creating both the front end and the back end of two of the most commonly used applications:insert record and update record. Both server behaviors require a form to take in new or updated information and both tie the form elements to their equivalents in the data source. Creating the forms with all the elements and then assigning each element to the appropriate data source tips the tedium scale way over—why not use a wizard to handle both chores at once? Check out Insert > Application Objects > Insert Record > Record Insertion Form Wizard and its good brother Insert > Application Objects > Update Record > Record Update Form Wizard. You don’t even have to put in a form tag; Dreamweaver does it all. Before you know it, you’ll be banishing the dread Dormammu to the mystic realm as well as completing your applications in record time.
