Project 5. Integrating Dreamweaver and F... > Using Dreamweaver Image Placeholders...

Using Dreamweaver Image Placeholders to Design a Web Page Layout

Image Placeholders are real time-savers when prototyping your web pages. They are temporary graphics that you can insert into your Dreamweaver documents during the design process. Essentially, they help you achieve a visually balanced layout between text and graphics before you even spend one second creating an image from within Fireworks.

Note

In Code view, you will notice that an Image Placeholder is nothing more than an <img> tag containing an empty src attribute. As with all <img> tags, the Image Placeholder’s attributes can be customized by using the Attributes panel.
