It Works Like This

Dreamweaver and Contribute handle some accessibility issues through preferences and dialogs. Others have to be hand-coded in Dreamweaver using Code view or the Tag inspector (Attributes tab). Most of these features cannot be inserted or manipulated using Macromedia Contribute. Here are the basic steps of the project:

1.
Insert and modify the specified meta data tags and editors comment to accept data from template parameters.

2.
Convert an existing disjointed submenu system that stays compliant with current specs using Dreamweaver templates and template elements (Editable Regions, Repeating Regions, Parameters, and Expressions) so that the aspects of the submenu elements of the design are controlled.

3.
Validate the template for Accessibility, XHTML, and CSS by creating an instance (child) page of the template, uploading it to your server, and validating it using the validation engines you desire.

4.
Create the site pages with Contribute by using the proper method of creating a new page from the template.

Here you’re inserting the specified meta data tags and editors comment to accept data from template parameters.

Now two Repeating Region entries are added.
