Copying from Office Documents

The fastest way to incorporate short sections of a Word document or a portion of an Excel spreadsheet is to copy and paste. Copy and paste work just as you would expect them to:

1.
Select the part you want to copy in either Word or Excel.

TIP

You can make your copy-and-paste operation easier by using the keyboard shortcuts of Ctrl+C for copy and Ctrl+V for paste. They work the same in all Microsoft Office and Contribute programs.

2.
Choose Edit > Copy.

3.
Switch to Contribute.

4.
Select Edit > Paste.
