Using Lists

Bulleted and numbered lists are a great way to clearly deliver related information in a concise, easy-to-read format. Contribute offers several different kinds of lists:

  • Bulleted— Bulleted lists are useful for items that are in no particular order.

  • Menu— A menu list is similar to a bulleted list, except that subitems do not have a different bullet character.

  • Numbered— Use numbered lists when you need to present information sequentially.

  • Definition— A definition list is a series of paired entries: a term with its definition, presented as a subitem.
