Changing the Background Color

Another way to change a page's look is to assign a background color. All browsers include an option for setting the default background color of a page—an option that takes effect if no color is set on the page. In other words, if you or the designer doesn't set the background color, you have no control over how your page is displayed.

Like the background image, the background color is set in Contribute's Page Properties dialog box. Contribute's color picker allows you to select your choice from a full range of colors; you can even sample a color from an image on the page or found anywhere on the desktop.
