About the Technical Reviewers

These reviewers contributed their considerable hands-on expertise to the entire development process for Roadmap to Macromedia Contribute. As the book was being written, these dedicated professionals reviewed all the material for technical content, organization, and flow. Their feedback was critical to ensuring that Roadmap to Macromedia Contribute fit our reader's need for the highest-quality technical information.

Kim Cavanaugh

A member of Team Macromedia, Kim is the author of Dreamweaver 4/Fireworks 4 Studio: A Beginner's Guide and Fireworks MX: A Beginner's Guide (Osborne/McGraw-Hill). He is a contributing author to Macromedia Studio MX Bible (Wiley).

Kim is also a classroom teacher and technology trainer for the School District of Palm Beach County, Florida and an adjunct professor with Palm Beach Community College. Previously, Kim worked for 10 years as a custom furniture designer and manufacturer; before that, he was a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army. He now lives in West Palm Beach, Florida with his wife and daughter and loves all things associated with life in South Florida—especially warm weather, the Miami Dolphins, inshore fishing, and Jimmy Buffett tunes.

Murray R. Summers

A biochemist by training, Murray has spent the last 20 years working in the computer industry. In 1998, Murray started his own web site production company, Great Web Sights (www.great-web-sites.com). As a Team Macromedia Volunteer, he also participates in the sponsored newsgroups for Dreamweaver and other Macromedia products. He lives in rural Philadelphia with Suzanne, his lovely wife, their teenage daughter Carly, a golden retriever, an eskipoo, and some goldfish. As he sometimes gets up on the wrong side of the bed, you must be very nice to him on the newsgroups!

Murray is a Macromedia Certified Website Developer and Dreamweaver Developer. He has contributed chapters to Dreamweaver 4 Magic by Al Sparber (New Riders) and Dreamweaver 4: The Missing Manual by David Sawyer McFarland (O'Reilly), and co-authored Dreamweaver MX Templates with Brad Halstead (New Riders). He is also serving as technical editor on several Dreamweaver-related books. He has managed to embarrass himself several times as an invited speaker at TODCONs (the other Dreamweaver conference) I and II, and will most likely do so again at MX NORTH and MX VEGAS.
