Chapter 17. Using Reports > Exploring the HTML Reports

Exploring the HTML Reports

The reports available in the HTML Reports category help you maintain and correct the HTML code in your eLearning Web site. Two of the reports in the HTML category are important to run on your online training application. The Missing Alt Text reports images that do not have the alt text attribute. The Untitled Documents report helps you discover which documents do not have titles.

Power User Tip

Regular expressions can also be used in Dreamweaver’s powerful Find and Replace command, found under the Edit menu, enabling you to use the wildcard searches to find and replace portions of your online learning application.

If you aren’t a UNIX guru or used to coding in a certain language, regular expressions (also called regex) might seem very strange. Regular expressions are powerful ways to search for patterns in data. See Appendix A,“Resources,” for Web sites you can use to learn more about regular expressions.
