Adding Learning Site Administration Files

To complete the learning site, you must add the administration files enabling you to add new users and view reports about eLearning application activities. Select the Copy Admin Files command (Site, Learning Site, Copy Admin Files) to add the following files to your site in the site root:

  • adminLogin.asp The login Web page for the administrator. Initially, you can log in using the user ID “admin” and the password “admin.” You’ll want to add a more secure administration user and delete the default user.

  • adminmenu.asp The Admin Menu is displayed after you log in as an administrator. It enables you to add and modify users, display reports, and search for students or activities, as shown in Figure 14.18.
