Connecting to a Remote Site

You’ll share your online learning application files with other people, either learners or your team members, as shown in Figure 16.1. To share the files, you must upload them to a remote location. This remote site, which mirrors your local site exactly, is located somewhere else—for example, on a server accessed over the Internet or on a network drive. The remote site could be your public Web site, but is most likely a private staging area for your team to share files.
