Exploring Analysis: The A in ADDIE

During the analysis phase of the ADDIE model, your team conducts an investigation of the client, assessing the problems to be addressed. The goal of the analysis phase is to identify the problems correctly and prepare a list of goals to remedy the problems. You also can analyze the intended audience during this phase. During the analysis phase, the following documents are produced:

  • A performance analysis report identifying the performance problems and suggesting solutions

  • A list of goals

  • An audience analysis report
