Preferences give you control over many Dreamweaver options and functions. It is a good idea to go through them all so that you know which options you can set.
The simplest and most ubiquitous way to customize the interface for every task you perform in Dreamweaver is to adjust its relevant preferences. Each chapter of this book has covered a little piece of the Dreamweaver preferences interface as it discussed individual preferences relevant to the chapter topic (to learn about code preferences, read Chapter 33, “Writing Code in Dreamweaver”). This integration of preferences-related topics reflects the way the preferences interface is integrated into Dreamweaver.
