Try applying some of the various filters available in Fireworks to an image. What does Glow do? What's the difference between Drop Shadow and Inner Shadow? Try using the Bevel and Emboss filters. What do they do? Try changing the color by using the color picker.

In Fireworks, select Commands, Creative, Add Picture Frame and then experiment. Export your experiment to Dreamweaver and try editing the image in Dreamweaver. What happens when you make changes in Fireworks? Are they automatically reflected in Dreamweaver?
