Week: 2 At a Glance > Defining a Dynamic Site

Day 8. Defining a Dynamic Site

You've got an application server platform and a database. Now what? The next step, and one of the most critical, is setting up the database connection for a Web site. If the settings are off by a misplaced space or stray period, the connection will fail, and you're likely to find yourself swearing at the computer for hours on end. • Uncovering the different database connection dialog boxes that are you will see

  • Showing how you will know when your definition is in place and working
