Sorting Data in Tables

After importing data from your text file into a table in GoLive, you can sort it any way you'd like. You can select any column or row and sort the information in it. You can choose multiple columns or rows to sort, and you can choose ascending or descending order. Also, you can specify secondary and tertiary sorting criteria. We will use some simple examples in the section.

In our example, which you can download from www.golivein24.com, the imported data contains the fields Job Title, Location, and Salary in three columns, in that order (see Figure 6.23). We will give you a simple example to help you understand how it can help organize table data.
