Hour 11. Designing Pages with Frames > Targeting Two Frames with One Link

Targeting Two Frames with One Link

Adobe GoLive ships with prewritten JavaScripts, which are called GoLive Actions. One Action is used to target two frames with one link. For example, assume that you have a two-frame setup for your Products section. The left frame acts as a table of contents, listing the product names as links. The content frame welcomes the visitor to the Products section of the Web site. When clicked, the links in the left frame load information about the products into the content frame.

But you also have a link in that table of contents to your Services section. When the user clicks that link, you want to load into the left frame a new table of contents that displays links to your various services. At the same time, you want a page to load into the content frame welcoming the visitor to the Services section. The way to do that is by using the Target2Frames Action.
