Q&A

Q1: I created an animation that I want to play once and then stop. For some reason, when I preview it in the browser, it keeps playing over and over. How do I stop it?
A1: You must have enabled the Loop button in the Timeline Editor. Simply open the Timeline Editor for your page and click the Loop button again, which will disable it.
Q2:I'm trying to drag a floating box so that it partially covers another one. As soon as I let go of it, it pops back to where it was! How can I make it stay put?
A2: Open the Floating Box palette, and choose Floating Box Grid Settings from the palette menu. Then, in the Floating Box Grid Settings dialog box, deselect Prevent Overlapping.
Q3:I've added an Action to the Action time track, but when I open the Actions palette, everything is grayed out. Why?
A3: When using an Action in the Action track of the Timeline Editor, you set up the Action in the Inspector, rather than in the Actions palette.
Q4:I just spent hours creating an animation and it won't play! Why not?
A4: The Autoplay button in the Timeline Editor is probably set to off. Click it to turn it back on.
