Hour 14. Creating DHTML Animations > Using Actions in Your Timeline

Using Actions in Your Timeline

When you use the Timeline Editor in GoLive to create animations, you have the additional benefit of being able to attach Actions to the time track. When the scene reaches the Action marker during playback, the Action will be triggered. Actions perform a variety of functions such as showing or hiding another floating box, triggering a scene (meaning another animation) to play, or loading a new page into the window.

When a page is loaded into a browser window, the timeline automatically begins to play unless you specify otherwise by deselecting the Autoplay button in the Timeline Editor.
