HTML Design Errors

Whether generated by a program or generated by hand, HTML design errors are a common problem, even on commercial Web sites. What makes matters worse is that many problems are compensated for by the browser—that is, the browser guesses what you intended to do and often renders the page correctly even though the HTML is wrong. This is nice if you happen to be using a browser that has correctly fixed the problem, but if you're not, the results can be very difficult to debug.
