The Java-ODBC Connection (Macintosh/Windows NT)

Macintosh users have traditionally been without extensive database support. The Macintosh, although offering an ODBC driver manager, has not made very good use of it. Most people, in fact, are unaware that it even exists. This might all change with the introduction of Mac OS X, which already supports ODBC through the various existing UNIX incarnations.

Fortunately, for those of us interested in using the traditional Mac OS to develop in UltraDev, there is a solution to the problem: a JDBC-ODBC bridge coupled with RmiJdbc.
