Asset Manager

As you've seen by using Templates and Libraries, the Assets palette contains all the objects (assets) that are available for your use within a site. We've only looked at the Library and Template assets because of their complexity—but there are several other types of assets available as well. Open up the Assets palette now. Along the left-hand side are nine icons, each corresponding to a different type of resource that can be tracked. These are, from top to bottom:

Images— Any image referenced in your site is included in the image assets.

Colors— Color assets contain any HTML colors used on your site.

Links— URLs linking pages to other pages or resources are shown here.

Flash— Macromedia Flash files used in the site.

Shockwave— Macromedia Shockwave files used in the site.

Movies— Any movies (embedded or otherwise) are listed in the Movie assets.

Scripts— JavaScript or VBScript code is shown here.

Templates— Template resources that you've created are listed in this section.

Library Items— Likewise, library elements are displayed in the Library Items portion of the Asset manager.
