Modify the Object Palette and Create Your Own Object

The Object palette, by default, has six panels: Characters, Common, Forms, Frames, Head, and Invisibles. If you open up the Dreamweaver directory you will see the Configuration directory. Much of Dreamweaver structure is based on the file structure and content within the Configuration directory.

The Objects directory within the Configuration directory contains six directories, shown in Figure 24.1: Characters, Common, Forms, Frames, Head, and Invisibles. Is this a coincidence that this directory contains sub-directories with the same names as the panels in the Object palette? No, the Object palette takes its structure from the sub-directories in Object directory.
