Q&A

Q1:Why shouldn't I center objects in a table cell with the text alignment buttons?
A1: You can use the text alignment buttons to center an object. That command will add an additional tag around the selected object and then apply the center property. Everything in the table cell may not be centered however. Only the objects within the added tags will be centered. If later you add an object to the cell, it may or may not be centered, depending on exactly where the insertion point was when you inserted the new object. Using the alignment properties of a cell is the way to make certain all objects in the cell will have the alignment you want.
Q2:When I add a dark and light border color, the original color that I applied to the border doesn't show. What am I doing wrong?
A2: You can't have both the border property (the Brdr box in the Property inspector) and light and dark borders showing in Internet Explorer. Setting the border property applies a color to the entire table border. The light border property replaces a portion of that border, and the dark border replaces the rest of the border. You will want to set all of the border colors for duel-browser compatibility because Netscape doesn't display light and dark borders.
