Using the toolbar

GoLive features several toolbars, which you can use to quickly access menus and commands. You use the main toolbar when working with a document in the Layout Editor or with files or site assets in the site window. The main toolbar is context-sensitive, which means that its contents change depending on what you have selected in the work area. You use additional toolbars when working with source code. To show or hide a toolbar, choose the name of the toolbar from the Window menu. To reposition a toolbar, drag its title bar (Windows) or left side bar (Mac OS). (The source code toolbar appears below the Source tab in the document window when the Source tab is selected.)

Now you'll use the toolbar to locate a file in the Files tab of the site window. Using the toolbar to locate files within a site can save you time when working with unfamiliar or larger sites. You'll locate the first_strike_logo.gif file, which you'll use later in this lesson to add a company logo to the home page. The first_strike_logo.gif file appeared in the scratch pane of the Navigation view as an unreferenced file.
