Click the Form Elements button () at the top of the Objects palette. The Form Elements set contains a variety of elements that you can add to a form, including the Form Elements icon itself.

All GoLive form elements fully support HTML 4.0 standards, including labels, tab order, and access keys, and are backward compatible with the HTML 3.2 specification.

Drag a Text Field icon from the Forms set of the Objects palette to the cursor in the document window. Be careful that you don't drag a Text Area icon by mistake.

If you prefer to design your form without the use of labels, you can simply enter information for the text field in the Content (Mac OS) or Value (Windows) text box.
