Adding a line break

Notice that the last item in the unnumbered list is longer than the other items. You can use a line break to make the last item flow onto two lines, rather than one.

1.
Click before the word “drawn” in the last item to insert a cursor.

Double-click the Line Break icon in the Basic set () of the Objects palette, or drag the Line Break icon from the Objects palette to the cursor on the page.

The line breaks, and the text beginning with “drawn” is moved to the following line.

You can also add a line break by clicking inside a paragraph to insert a cursor and pressing Shift+Enter or Shift+Return.
