Working with Editable Areas

Pages based on Dreamweaver templates show the editable regions in the draft window as areas outlined in green, with a tab and the editable region name (Figure 8.3). Editable regions are most often containers for text, but they can also contain images, tables, and other objects, such as Flash movies. Editable regions do not have to be devoted to only one type of content; text and images can share a region.
