Inserting Special Characters

You can add special characters, such as the Euro, copyright, or trademark symbols, to your page in Contribute without having to remember their bizarre HTML equivalents. Relief is just a menu choice away.

To insert a special character:

1.
Click in the page to place the insertion point where you want the special character to appear.

2.
Choose Insert > Special Characters, then choose the special character you want from the submenu (Figure 4.26).

If the character you want doesn’t appear in the menu, choose Other. The Insert Other Character dialog appears (Figure 4.27).

3.
Click the character you want to use, then click OK to close the dialog.

Contribute inserts the special character on your page.
