Lesson 8. Storyboarding Flash Movies > Designing a Button Graphic

Designing a Button Graphic

The second screen is just about finished. And since the third screen is just a variation of the second screen, your storyboard is almost complete. But one element remains to be created, which will appear in both the second and third screens, and that is a button graphic. In this task, all you'll do is design the basic graphic; in the Flash lessons, you'll convert it to a button and add the script necessary to make it functional.

The button graphic itself will look like a fast-forward button on a VCR; it will feature two triangles pointing to the right, one slightly overlapping the other. Creating it, then, requires you to draw triangles.
