Exporting Internal Styles into an External Style Sheet

If you've created styles on a single page, and you want to use them again on other pages, you can export the styles to an external style sheet and then link to it. (Previously, you had to use a text editor and cut and paste everything.)

To export internal styles

1.
Open the page that includes the styles you want to export.

2.
From the Document window menu bar, select File > Export > CSS Styles. The Export Styles as CSS File dialog box will appear (Figure 11.58).

Figure 11.58. It's easy to save internal styles as a new style sheet. Just type the file name.

3.
Select the folder you want to save the style sheet in, and then type a name for the file, ending in .css, in the File name text box.

4.
Click on Save. Now you can attach the style sheet to a different page.
