Merging and Splitting Cells

In Standard mode, you can combine two adjacent cells into a single, larger cell. You can also split a cell into one or more other cells.

To merge cells

1.
In Standard mode, select two or more cells you want to combine (Figure 12.64).

Figure 12.64. Select the cells you want to combine. You can select an entire column or row, if you wish.


2.
On the Property inspector, click the Merge Cells button .

The cells will be combined (Figure 12.65).
