Moving a Layout Element

You can use the grid (View > Grid > Show Grid) to help you place things. See Chapter 1 for details on adjusting the grid.

You cannot overlap any containers—cells can't overlap with each other, or with tables, or vice versa. Before your table is hyperpopulated, though, you can move a cell or table anywhere you like. You can move a nested table within a table, but you can't place a table just anywhere on the page without using a layout table.
