Using a Tracing Image

Some designers like to create page mockups in Photoshop (or another image editor) before production starts in on the HTML page itself. Wouldn't it be nice if the page hackers could view the mockup image behind the page and just drag and drop elements onto it?

Using Dreamweaver, you can do just that. You can display your mockup image (Figure 14.78) in the degree of transparency you prefer and then position layers on top of the image so that they line up exactly where God (or the designer) intended.
