Chapter 13. Framing Pages > Modifying the Frame Page Layout

Modifying the Frame Page Layout

You have limitless options when it comes to laying out pages with frames. Whether you started with a blank page or with a prefab Dream weaver layout, you can add frames by splitting a frame into two or more frames within a nested frameset, and you can adjust the proportions of the frames on the page by dragging the frame borders to new locations on the page. You'll probably do some experimenting before you achieve the layout you want.

To add frames by splitting a frame

1.
In the Document window, click within the frame you want to split.

2.
From the Document window menu bar, select Modify > Frameset > (as shown earlier in Figure 13.5), and then choose one of the following options: Split Frame Left, Split Frame Right, Split Frame Up, or Split Frame Down. This will split a frame into a nested frameset consisting of two frames.
