Changing Text Size

There are several ways to indicate text size in HTML. Both the <font> tag and CSS styles allow you to choose from two types of text scaling: absolute sizes or relative sizes.

Using style sheets you can set a font size in points, like you do in word-processing and page-layout programs. Without style sheets, however, you set font sizes relative to a base size.
