Chapter 16. Behavior Modification > Using Show or Hide Layers

Using Show or Hide Layers

The Show-Hide Layers action can make certain layers appear or disappear. You must already have the layers on your page to set up this behavior. The effectiveness of this behavior depends on the initial visibility setting you give your layers.

Usage Example: When a user mouses over an image or clicks on a link, one layer will disappear and another will appear; we saw this in Figures 16.1 through 16.3. Because layers are loaded with a page, you can make several sets of content available on a single page and hidden in different layers.
