Chapter 6. Dynamic Forms > Using Dynamic Lists and Menus

Using Dynamic Lists and Menus

Like dynamic radio button groups, dynamic list boxes and drop-down menus are a great way to let users choose from a predefined set of possibilities. Lists and menus look quite different, but they’re lumped together because they use the same HTML tag, the <select> tag. A list lets users see and select more than one item at a time; whereas a menu is a drop-down menu that lets users select only one item.

Before you can create a dynamic list or menu, you’ll need to have a recordset already defined. If you need help creating a recordset, see the section Using the Bindings Panel, in Chapter 2.
