Image Links

You can make an image into a link, too. Buttons and navigation arrows are obvious examples, but you can make any image point to anything on the Web.

To make an image link:

1.
With your page open in the Document window, select the image you want to make into a link by clicking on it (Figure 6.15).

If necessary, display the Property inspector (Window > Properties).

3.
In the Link text box, type (or paste) the location of the document to which you want to link (Figure 6.16).

Press Enter (Return), or click the Apply button.

Click the Link browse button and select the local file to which you want to link. See Making Relative Links if you need help with the details.

Make sure you click the Link browse button, instead of the similar button next to the Image Src text box above it, which will ask you to choose an image.
