Saving a Page with CSS Formatting as Plain HTML

After you create a page with CSS, you may decide to create a plainer version of it for your technologically deficient visitors.

1.
Open the page with CSS in the Document window (Figure 11.57).

From the Document window menu bar, select File > Convert > 3.0 Browser Compatible. The Convert to 3.0 Browser Compatible dialog box will appear (Figure 11.58).

In the dialog box, click on the CSS Styles to HTML Markup radio button.

Click OK. Dreamweaver will open the converted page in a new, untitled window.

5.
Make any modifications you want, then save the page.
