Dragging Columns and Rows in Standard View

You can adjust column width or row height by simply clicking and dragging.

To drag column and row borders:

1.
When you move the mouse over a border between cells, the pointer will turn into a double-headed arrow (Figure 12.49).

2.
Click on the border and drag it to a new location (Figure 12.50). This will set the height or width of the rows or columns involved.
