Inserting Ruled Lines

A horizontal rule is a line that runs across the page horizontally and provides an explicit rather than implied division between parts of a document (Figure 9.38). The tag is <hr>. Some people swear by them; others think they're the ugliest tag in HTML, but I'm going to show you how to make one, regardless.
