Overlapping and Nesting

One neato thing about layers is that you can overlap two layers, and you can also create a layer that's positioned relative to another (called nesting).

To overlap two or more layers:

  • All you need to do is move two layers so that they overlap, or create a layer that shares window area with another layer (Figure 14.32). Make sure the Prevent Overlaps checkbox is unchecked before you try overlapping.
