Chapter 18. Customizing Dreamweaver > Deleting a Menu Item

Deleting a Menu Item

You can remove a menu item entirely if you never use it. You may want to create a menu system that omits all database functions or all FTP functions for installing on different workstations in your office. Or, for example, suppose you find yourself using the Insert > Layer command when you'd rather draw layers only with the Insert toolbar. You can remove the option.

To delete a menu item:

1.
Follow steps 1 through 3 above, and cut the menu item.

2.
Follow steps 7 and 8 above, to save and test your changes.
