Editing the Mail Server

Sitespring sends out automatic email notices to users when significant events happen that relate to them, such as when a user is assigned a new task. In order for Sitespring to send these emails, you need to configure the application so it knows which email server and address to use.

Before editing this information, you need to know the host name or IP address of the outgoing SMTP server that Sitespring should use, the email address of the account from which Sitespring should send the email, the sender name that should be displayed, and, if needed, an account name and password to access the SMTP server.
