Chapter 5. Working with Images > Appearance Properties

Appearance Properties

In Dreamweaver, the default for displaying images is to display them without any border, but you can add a border if you'd like.

To add an image border:

1.
Select the image to which you'd like to add a border (Figure 5.22). The Property inspector will display the image properties.

If necessary, expand the Property inspector by clicking on the Expander arrow in the lower-right corner.

In the Property inspector, type a number in pixels in the Border text box (Figure 5.23).

Press Enter (Return), or click on the Apply button. The border will be displayed around the image in the Document window (Figure 5.24).
