Kinds of Style Sheets

In CSS, styles can be stored as a style sheet in one of two ways. On a single page, the styles can be stored inline,s in the <head> tag of the document (which comes before the <body>; see Figure 11.10). They can also be stored in an external style sheet (Figure 11.11), which can be linked to from many different pages. And external style sheets can be divided into two kinds themselves: linked and imported.
