Moving a Layout Element

You can use the grid (View > Grid > Show) to help you place things. See Chapter 1 for details on adjusting the grid.

You cannot overlap any containers—cells can't overlap with each other, or tables, or vice versa. Before your table is hyperpopulated, though, you can move a cell or table anywhere you like. You can move a nested table within a table, but you can't place a table just anywhere on the page without using a layout table.
