Nesting and Overlapping Layers

One neato thing about layers is that you can put a layer within a layer, or you can create two layers that overlap.

To overlap two or more layers:

All you need to do is move two layers so that they overlap, or create a layer that shares page area with another layer (Figure 14.33).

You can also nest two layers, which may or may not also overlap. Nested layers are placed on the page in relative position to the top, left corner of another layer rather than to the top, left corner of the page.
